Cellulite Reduction Therapy

Cellulite reduction therapy is a safe and non-invasive way to minimize that dimpled appearance on skin surfaces.

What is Cellulite?

Known as adiposis edematosa and orange peel syndrome, cellulite is a condition where areas of skin seem to exhibit deposits of fat. The result is a lumpy and dimpled appearance, most noticeable around the thighs and buttocks. The condition is categorized in three grades.

  • Grade 1. The signs are almost invisible, detectable only through a microscopic exam of cells taken from areas of the body.
  • Grade 2. The skin will have a pasty pallor. It can have lowered temperature and a decrease in elasticity.
  • Grade 3. Along with symptoms of grade 2, there will be visible roughness on skin, resembling an orange peel or cottage cheese.

Cellulite is more common in women due to their physiology building specific types of fat and connective tissue.

The European Rejuvenation Center provides the latest tech and protocols for cellulite reduction therapy to improve the skin's overall fitness.

Causes of Cellulite

There are no proven studies that explain what causes cellulite. There are theories.

  • Genetics. Genes and their unique characteristics may predispose individuals to cellulite.
  • Diet. Fatty foods, carbs, salt, lack of fiber, all are considered potential influences in cellulite production.
  • Hormones. It is believed imbalances in estrogen, insulin, prolactin and other hormones can play a part.
  • Clothing. Tight fitting clothes - especially around the buttocks - can limit blood flow and may contribute to cellulite formulation.
  • Lifestyle. Cellulite is more likely in smokers, individuals who do not exercise and those who stand in one place too long.

Cellulite Reduction Therapy

At the European Rejuvenation Center, we promote cellulite reduction therapy for more than how it can change your look. The treatments can increase blood flow, reduce muscle tension, build a sense of well-being and increase fluid elimination.

This procedure is not liposuction. Therapy requires no surgery, no anesthesia and no breaking of the skin. It is a non-invasive treatment that results in a fresh look with minimal pain and no downtime. Therapy can be part of the liposuction process, if your doctor believes it will help. Therapy can soften tissue and make it easier to extract during liposuction. Treatments after surgery can smooth residual bumps and lumps.

The European Rejuvenation Center is ready to help you look your best through cellulite reduction therapy. Give us a call (425) 746-6100 and arrange a consultation to discuss your options.
